Bakewell is a charming town on the beautiful River Wye in the Peak District, with its 5 arch medieval stone bridge.

The perfect excuse to explore the town famous for its Bakewell Pudding.  This popular day trip is a firm favourite with our customers.  The town has a great variety of independent shops offering charming tea rooms set in cosy courtyards, impressive stone buildings, a quaint five-arched bridge that goes back to Roman times, a Grade I listed church, a museum, historic almshouses, and various riverside attractions.  All this on the banks of the lovely River Wye, a day trip to Bakewell is full of rich heritage and tradition.
