Anglesey Abbey has one of the finest snowdrop collections in the country with over 500 varieties, many of them rare, on this tour you can learn about them from your guide and enjoy their beauty in amongst the classical statues of the Winter Garden.
You will also have the opportunity to explore the Jacobean House, full of history, monastic priory to the 20th century home of Lord Fairhaven who wanted to inspire and surprise visitors. There is plenty to see and do with a garden for all seasons, a shop and plant centre, second hand book shop, cafe and restaurant and an Eighteenth-century water mill with traditional machinery and of course, snowdrops aplenty.
Enjoy the first glimpse of Spring to come with a visit to the stunning Anglesey Abbey & Lode Mill (National Trust) in Cambridgeshire. Includes entrance to the house and a guided snowdrop tour.
