Join us on a day trip to view the magnificent Grade I listed Lovell Telescope and exhibitions. The site has been transformed over the last 18 months and now includes the brand new First Light Pavilion designed to look like a circular hill set in the gardens and housing displays, objects and artefacts from the site’s rich history, incorporating the fabric of the original 1957 surface of the Lovell Telescope. The site also has its own small arboretum, beautiful to view on an October day!
We are very excited that our trip will include a 30 minute immersive night sky show in the planetarium which is opening for the first time this year.
